04) Why did you call yourselves Macaroon?

When choosing a company name, we wanted it to be all encompassing with room to expand in to a variety of product offerings. For us, "Macaroon" is fresh, quirky and current. Foodies in-the-know have dubbed the dainty little creations, the "cakes du jour" or "the new cupcake" and we hope to be considered in the same light - new and fresh - capturing the essence of beauty and indulgence - a return to old-fashioned values, with a modern twist. Like Macaroons, our web-site and product suite are a visual feast. And clearly, the bright alluring colors of the Macaroon - chocolate, pistachio, raspberry pink and turquoise blues - inspired much of our color choices and designs; resulting in a color palette that lifts the spirit and makes you smile - which is exactly what we at Macaroon want when you open your package of personalised stationery or peel off your individual gift sticker - a swelling of pride and a feeling of joy in giving - and a treat to receive.

All payments are made on-line using your credit card via a secure IVeri payment gateway.

11) Do you charge VAT?

Due to the size of our current turnover, we are not currently registered for VAT so do not, at this stage, charge VAT.

12) Will I be emailed a tax invoice?

Yes. The Macaroon system will automatically invoice you a tax invoice once you have checked out and made payment.

13) How do I apply a promotional or coupon code to my order?

If you have a promotional code, you will use it on the check-out page. At the bottom right-hand corner of the page is a box which requests your voucher code. Enter your voucher code here and the system will automatically apply the discount to your purchase.

14) What is your returns policy?

At Macaroon, we pride ourselves in a perfect product and as your product is personalised, you have the opportunity to check its accuracy for yourselves. Before you check-out, the system prompts you to check your photo choice, theme choice, colour choice, text, dates and spelling - Macaroon will not be held responsible for inaccurate details on your personalised stationery. Ih, however, you are unhappy with the quality of your product or printing, please contact us and we will gladly replace it.

17) Photo Guidelines & Technical

When uploading your photos, files under the size of 300k run the risk of poor print quality and files over the size of 2meg run the risk of slowing your upload process. For an optimal upload, use photos between the size of 400Kb and 1.5Mb. Images needs to be in a JPEG/PNG or GIF format, i.e they should have an extention (jpg,jpeg,png or gif). Macaroon will store your 14 most recent uploaded images in your personal photo library under your profile. When you log back in to complete new designs, you will be able to re-use these photos without having to upload them again. When completing your on-line design, you are creating a brief for a professional Macaroon designer. Our designers will touch up every order to ensure that it looks perfect. We will, however, not be responsible for editing dates, text or spelling. The Macaroon website supports all browsers with the exception of Internet Explorer 6, which is not recommended for optimal usability.

1. How are my personalised stickers packaged?
   Your personalised stickers are packaged in a personalised stickerbook.
2. How many stickers come in a personalised stickerbook?
   You will receive 60 personalised stickers in your stickerbook.
3. Can I request a specific amount of stickers in my personalised stickerbook?
   All gift stickers come standard with 60 stickers in your personalised stickerbook. This quantity is set and cannot be
4. Can I mix theme selections or color selections per book or have different designs on different pages of my personalised stickerbook?
   No you cannot. Once you have selected your sticker theme and colorway, it will make up your entire stickerbook. Each page in your book is made up of the four slightly varied sticker designs that you see on your customisation page. The book is then made up of 15 repeat pages, resulting in 60 stickers in total. As our products are personalised, all of our print runs are short and, as such, there has to be a minimum amount of pages printed in order for Macaroon to be able to provide our high quality product to you at affordable prices.
5. There are so many sticker themes that I like. Is there a simple way to narrow them down or keep track of my favorites?
   Yes. When you find a sticker design that you like, and want to keep browsing and come back to it, you can click on the heart icon and it will add it to your favorites. You will then be able to come back to and compare your favorites at a later stage.
6. Can I make changes to the design templates?
   No. The design team at Macaroon has put a lot of time in to each and every design we offer.
7. Can I select my own fonts on my personalised stickers?
