Our Turnaround Time
Have you left your party planning to the last minute? Are you rushed to get your Christmas greetings mailed on time? Macaroon endeavors to turn your order around quickly and efficiently, and provides you with a range of delivery options.
From the time you have confirmed and paid for your order, Macaroon guarantees to have your order ready to be shipped to you within three working days. The complete turnaround time then depends on which delivery option you have selected.
Collection
Johannesburg residents have the option of collecting their order from our offices in Greenside. WE WILL NOTIFY YOU BY EMAIL WHEN YOUR ORDER IS READY FOR COLLECTION, but as a general rule, orders will be ready for collection within 5 full working days.
You will receive an email when your order is ready to be collected an dcan collect from Macaroon, 21 Gleneagles Road, Greenside, Johannesburg (on the Greenside main restaurant strip, diagonally opposite Vida Cafe & opposite Mica) between 8am and 5pm daily. If Macaroon are unavailable, your parcel will be left at the RGB Digital Print reception (in the same building).
South African Post Office
An order sent using the regular postal system will take 5 to 7 working days to reach you, meaning that the total turnaround time will be around 10 working days.
If the package is small enough, it will be delivered to your post box. If however, it is out-sized, it will be delivered to your nearest post office.
Macaroon charges R20 postage on orders under the value of R1000 and R50 postage on orders over the value of R1000.
You will be emailed a tracking number from Macaroon and you will be able to trace your parcel on-line at any time by visiting tracking.postoffice.co.za and entering your tracking number or calling 0860 111 502 with your tracking number. You will receive a collection slip from your nearest post office or can pop in with your tracking number to locate and collect your parcel.
Door-to-Door Courier
An order sent using our private courier service will take 2 working days to reach you, and Macaroon will also prioritise the urgent courier orders so that production turnaround time will be 3 working days, meaning that the total turnaround time will be a maximum of 6 working days.
These parcels will be delivered directly to your door.
Macaroon charges R100 courier charge on orders under the value of R1000 and R200 courier charge on orders over the value of R1000.
You will be sent a tracking number from Macaroon and will be able to call Courier It (011 928 8300) with this tracking number at any time to locate your parcel.
